About Me and My Work
Hello all! My name is Andrea. I am a Georgia peach who loves rain, reading, music, and sewing. I was taught to sew in 2002 by a lovely "old hippie" friend of mine. Surrounded by yellow painted walls of sunshine in the cold of February that year, we listened to folk music , and I constructed my very first pattern and dress. I had bought my first hippie dress in Little 5 Points that previous November and I wanted a new one to wear to an arts and music festival we were going to with some of our traveling friends. Once my family and friends saw that I could make these dresses they began placing orders! I wanted to learn more about sewing so in 2004, I signed up for design school at American Intercontenintal University. I gradauted this year and am back in business.
I make custom handmade clothing for those who do not like ordinary. Many of my customers are old souls who desire simpler ways of life. Each peice I design is one of a kind and created to live in . I want you to feel beautiful. To accomplish this, I make a prototype of each style first, wear it myself, and make sure it provides optimal comfort and ease of wear.
Since my work is custom, I mostly do business through email, or via phone. Decide on the style you want, email me the name of the style, the colors you want, along with your bra size, (if you know it), and your hip measurement.
Two other measurements I may need are, your hieght (shoulder to floor), and the length of your back (bottom of your neck to smallest part of your waist). I will send you swatches of the fabric I find matching your desired color/colors.
